How to style a maternity print dress 3 ways

Ok ok, so I know I said to stay away from prints whilst pregnant, but I couldn't resist this on-trend Aztec pencil dress from ASOS. This has been one of my most utilized pieces as it's transitioned seamlessly from my summer wardrobe right into fall with tights and cozy knit sweaters. It's super comfortable and washes well, definite bang for the buck. I hope this will encourage you to give your own maternity wardrobe a fun piece to flaunt your fabulous belly in! And no, ASOS didn't give me this jazzy little number for free to sing of it's praises.

As a stylist, I am always encouraging my clients to step out side their comfort zone and try something new, so I decided to take my own advice on this one. I remember first falling in love with only the print of this dress and shying away from the 'add to cart' button because the colours reminded me of a tragic late 80's pastel drapery fabric. I'm glad I tried it (albeit the sale price helped!) as this dress has been so easy to wear. Its great on its own but also is easily spiced up with some cool accessories and non-maternity items such as my moto jacket or blazer.
