What a wild ride 2016 has been so far, from Eco Fashion Week, incorporating new services into Project K's repertoire, and volunteering with this amazing non-profit group called Shape Your World Society, it's been an awesome start. The group of women I have been working with since early February are all so inspiring. They are committed to their personal growth all the while shrinking their waistline and inspiring droves of women to compete in next years challenge.

Here I am in February coaching all 30 contestants on how to best utilize their social media networks.

Here I am in February coaching all 30 contestants on how to best utilize their social media networks.

Project K has been coaching the girls from the start regarding their social media presence as a large majority of their success in the challenge comes from online voting polls. I was one of the first speakers to coach the contestants on how best to utilize their social media account to advance to the next round. A large portion of votes come from an engaged online audience and I worked with the women teaching various techniques on how to best harness their network to their advantage. It was so great to work with all levels of social media savviness and grow my coaching services this way. The response was amazing and they all (even the advanced social media guru's) learned lots and were quick to pick up and implement techniques. The challengers are committed to the experience for the full four months, but only a handful get to move on in the next levels. What started as 30, quickly went down to 15 after the first round of voting and currently we are at our top five contestants with 1 wildcard entry! The board members from Shape Your World put on a successful silent auction with the help of the remaining 15 contestants this last week at the Phoenix lounge. It was a great night of catching up and celebrating the girls going through to the last round! I had a super fun night and managed to squeeze it in even though it was right in the middle of Eco Fashion Week. These women are amazing!!!

In addition to my social media coaching, I worked with the girls on how to dress for their body type, and make use of many of their favorite pieces that they may not fit anymore. With many contestants eager to help each other out, I suggested we hold a Clothing Swap and the girls were all in! I'm so excited to get this going in the next couple weeks with them and help them style their individual new looks to showcase the amazing changes they have made in such a short amount of time!
