Ahh, there is nothing quite like the sweet, sweet fix of Black Friday shopping is there? I don't even go out to shops anymore because the kids are still too young (read: crazy) but I'm not sure if you need to with online sales these days. I like to support my favourite local boutiques when at all possible (click here to see which ones in the Fraser Valley have sales this weekend) however there is something to be said for shopping and getting chores done too right? I like to tell myself I'm earning my keep and my husband can't possible get mad because hey, look at all the other stuff I did today too, ya hear? Ok, so lets get to it. The nitty gritty of where my little mouse has been clickity-clacking this weekend.
I simply can't help myself when it comes to black skinnies. I mean, Wilfred Free for $40? It couldn't be ignored. I actually am kicking myself I didn't buy more pairs (then the 3 I ordered) but hey, I do have my limits, ok?
I love Asos. I love it for many reasons but mostly the variety. I was looking for a couple spring pieces to wear to an upcoming trade show and was hoping for some watercolour midi skirts. This is a great tip for black friday shopping; Don't focus on buying items in season, you'll get the best deals if your open to shopping for spring/summer/fall items. This pencil skirt caught my eye albeit not a circle, for the exposed zipper and soft pallet. It also has a matching crop top which I loved but opted against. I predict the Gsus Sindutries dress is going to be a staple in my Spring wardrobe because a. it has pockets. b. it has pockets. and c. it has pockets. I can't deny a cute dress with pockets. Ever. Especially when I'm saving $100 on it. Use code TGIBF for 30% off everything on site!
This is my MUST cosmetic. I have them everywhere and they are the perfect coverage and shade for when you are or aren't wearing makeup. I picked up 5 of these because they were 40% off as well as a new eye shadow trio. With free shipping over $30 this was a no-brainer for me.
PS Don't worry about my stocking this year Jeff, I've got you covered.
As for circle skirts, I found some on sheinside.com but having never ordered from them before and with their prices so low, I feared I would regret it. Have any of you ordered from there before? I'd love to know what your experience was like! I always fill up a cart then chicken out. I have even ordered from them before, waited 2 weeks and when nothing arrived, called and cancelled my order. So boo to that.
What deals have you scored so far? Let me know in the comments below. And if you're ever curious about where and what my late-nite shopping takes me, be sure to follow my Apparel etc boards on Pinterest, I rarely miss an item I purchase so thats a great place to check out what I have hanging in my closet.
Happy shopping guys!
