Project K:
Return from the abyss...
At long last...
Bonjour everyone! I have been away for a while, I know, but I hope to get back into the swing of things. For those of you that don’t already know, I do have a good excuse, a really really good excuse! After much surprise, Jeff and I found out that we are expecting our second child this November. With the first trimester finally over, I am starting to feel a little bit more like myself again so I thought I would just ease into this posting business simply by showcasing some of the little things I’ve been working on.
This new line of headbands features polyester flowers that are hand sewn with glass beads and sequins. The flowers seem to just pop on the headbands and look great if you are into that ‘big flower’ look. If you are partial to my first round of bands with the delicate and smaller organza flowers, don’t worry, they are still listed here. They are $10 a band and if you live in the Fraser Valley, email me your order and it will be in CND dollars (instead of USD as required for etsy) and the shipping fee will be waved if you want to arrange pick-up or drop-off. If you are one of my international readers, you can order them online by simply clicking here.
I hope I haven’t disappointed to many of you with my absence lately, I know many of you enjoyed my monthly gardening tips, and I hope to return with that feature for the month of July. I am a little disappointed at myself to be honest, I was so sick in the spring that I didn’t get any seeds started and have had to forgo a vegetable garden this year, it just became too daunting a task to undertake it seemed. So my plan is to take it easy this summer, putter around in the flower garden out front and work on my tan and gaining some weight back! I hope that you are all enjoying the warmer weather!!
